GENERAL FOREMAN / TOWER FOREMAN:

The CBR Group is looking for a General Foreman/Tower Foreman who has an expert level understanding of all aspects of the telecom industry, as you will be expected to maintain full control of their crew’s production while leading by example. The General Foreman/ Tower Foreman will utilize the Tower Lead to develop and plan out the complete build of the site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring on-site safety and complying with safety standards.

• Conducting repairs to telecom towers at a height.

• Reporting on possible hazards on telecom towers.

• Following work checklists and ensure operational compliance.

• Following instructions set out by the scope of work and methods of procedures (MOPs).

• Completing work to customer specifications.

• Troubleshooting tower issues.

• Expanding network coverage.

• Performing equipment swaps and site upgrades.

• Setting high standards of performance; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.

• Being a team player in the truest sense, with an ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.

• The ability to maintain a desired level of quality in your work, especially by means of attention to every stage of the process of delivery or production.

• The ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions; be organized with strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to work independently under limited supervision.

• A valid driver’s license with an MVR record that classifies you as insurable.

• Flexible to work shift work to include maintenance window and weekends if needed.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

• Highly tech-savvy

• Lead and motivate a team of 2 - 5 tower climbers performing upgrades and repairs on cellular equipment mounted to various elevated structures such as guyed towers, lattice towers, water towers, monopoles and rooftops..

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have:

• Experienced with leading tower crews while also performing troubleshooting, cellular radio and antenna swaps, legacy cable upgrades from coaxial to fiber, site upgrades and capacity expansions.

• 3-4 Years of Telecom Tower Climbing Experience

• Able to evaluate, review and submit closeout packages crafted by team members, while also providing daily progress reports to field management.

• Skilled in the execution of site safety adherence, completion of JSA/JHA forms, and daily quality control reporting.

• Highly proficient with communication, organization, administrative tasks, and computers.

• A master of working without continuous supervision in a challenging and stressful environment.
