LEASING SPECIALIST:

The CBR Group is a Telecommunications Management, Consulting and Engineering company who delivers telecommunication infrastructure solutions to the wireless industry.

We are looking for a Leasing Specialist to join our team.

Someone who is proficient at preparation of candidate information and reports related to permitting and land use viability. Someone who can direct or supervise the internal and external team, including engineers and drafting technicians, to ensure deadlines are met within defined timeframes. You will need to be able to identify potential risk scenarios. Prepare zoning and permitting applications. Monitor progress of the application and facilitate jurisdictional requests for additional information as a result of the application review process. Ensures compliance to the quality and safety goals and objectives. Negotiate ordinances and project conditions on behalf of the client.

Assist Project Managers on providing Entitlement updates, forecasting and any related jurisdictional issues associated with a project.

Assists Site Acquisition Manager with training of Site Acquisition Specialists and Associates.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provides candidate-specific recommendations for permitting processes.

  • Supervises and directs the work of consultants and subcontractors to support submittals and jurisdictional approvals.

  • Supervises activities of team members and other departments, as needed.

  • Provides site sketches, as needed.

  • Attends field site visits for candidate to determine permitting viability.

  • Interviews zoning/permitting personnel to obtain jurisdictional approval requirements for installation of wireless communication facilities and/or related wireless equipment as project scope defines.

  • Completes Zoning Ordinance Reviews for site modification projects.

  • Reviews zoning drawings for compliance with jurisdictional, regulatory and client requirements.

  • Prepares, submits and obtains jurisdictional entitlements which may include applications and presentations before governmental or architectural review boards.

  • Presents at meetings required by the Landlord or Jurisdiction including HOA, design review boards and neighborhood groups.

  • Coordinates with tower owners and/or private landlords to negotiate and secure lease entitlements as project scope defines.

  • Coordinate with client and engineering departments to obtain information necessary for entitlement applications (RF Affidavits, propagation maps, photo-simulations, etc…).

  • Reviews and approves site specific documents for quality and completeness.

  • Maintains a high degree of customer service and integrity when dealing with clients.

  • Other duties or special projects, as assigned.

  • Acts in capacity of a “lead person”. Does has management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Serves as Planning/Zoning Specialist and/or Manager (depending on education and experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires 4 year degree, or equivalent work experience, prefer Urban Planning Background or Law Degree.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
